On March 23rd, Greater Pottstown Tennis & Learning (GPTL) teamed up with The Pourhouse Tap Room & Sports Bar located on High Street in the Borough of Pottstown for our 2nd Annual March Madness fundraiser, and an AWESOME time was had by all! GPTL Board Members, Pottstown Area School District teachers and administrators, and other local business and media personalities all manned the bar during this four hour event. The Pourhouse was packed from start to finish that Saturday afternoon with GPTL staff and board members, friends, and supporters from across the greater Pottstown area to help raise money in support of our mission to mentor healthy behaviors, life skills, and learning through tennis.
As exciting as the NCAA basketball games were that day, even more exciting was that we successfully raised $4,000 as a result of the generosity of all of those who tipped their bartenders or donated online specifically for this event. All funds raised from this great event are being used exclusively for the benefit of the GPTL after-school and adaptive programs.
Thank you for ALL of your support, and we hope to have an even bigger and better March Madness event next year…we hope you will be able to make it!
